Great footage has emerged of the pre-Celtic Tom Rogic.

Six years ago the midfielder came to the attention of Celtic, joined up for a winter training camp in Spain then signed a contract for former hoops boss Neil Lennon.

Rogic showed his ability occasionally under Lennon and Ronny Deila but it was just over two years ago that he flourished under Brendan Rodgers.

The former Liverpool boss quickly got the Australian signed up onto a three year deal with Rogic finishing the 2017 with the winning goal in the Scottish Cup Final against Aberdeen.

Despite his current status the midfielder had to work his way into football from the outside, getting his second chance in the game through the Nike Academy Australia.

After being selected a group of players were put through their paces in preparation for a tour of Europe where they were to play against Academy sides in the hope of earning a contract.

Celtic was one of the teams that Nike Australia played against, half a dozen years later Rogic is an idol of the Celtic support with more than a dozen key goals to reflect back on.
