Nine minutes into last night’s match with RB Salzburg Celtic fans put football in perspective- for a minute.
As Mikael Lustig recovered from a head knock thoughts turned to Leigh Griffiths who was missing due to personal issues.
The striker had been in action five days earlier against Kilmarnock but is now fighting entirely different battles.

With 100 goals to his name Griffiths has more than made his mark at Celtic with his on-field attitude and approach making him a favourite with supporters.
Celtic eventually made it through to the last 32 of the Europa League with that process kick started by a late goal by the Scotland striker against Rosenborg.
On Sunday Celtic face Hibs at Easter Road, a ground that Griffiths knows well both as a player and supporter.
As he looks in on that action from afar he’ll see a real goal to complete his treatment and hopefully get back into action as the centre of attention on the pitch rather than in the stands.
