Not only can Tore Reginiussen send Celtic into the last 32 of the Europa League- the Rosenborg defender can use a microphone better than Kieran Tierney!

Until 9.30pm last night the 32-year-old had barely featured in the thoughts of Celtic supporters but is now second only to Albert Kidd in the affection of hoops supporters.

Back in 1986 the curly haired Dundee substitute was just another Scottish journeyman before he pulled on a Superman cape, scored twice against Hearts and handed the title to Celtic who were winning 5-0 away to St Mirren.

Last night Celtic were heading out of the Europa League due to a dismal performance as RB Salzburg handed them a lesson as they strolled to a 2-0 win.

Four minutes from the final whistle Reginiussen equalised for Rosenborg away to RB Leipzig and it was time for the disco lights to be switched back on.

The injury to Ryan Christie meant that there was seven minutes added time at Celtic Park- when the final whistle went in Leipzig the cheers reached Glasgow with the Tore Reginiussen CSC expected to be launched later today.

Celtic will be the only Scottish club in Monday’s draw for the last 32 of the Europa League.
