For the fourth time in the SPFL Premiership Don Robertson will referee Celtic this weekend.
Despite having a large pool of referees to call on including seven on the FIFA list Sunday’s match will mean that Robertson will have refereed over 25% of Celtic’s SPFL fixtures this season.
Curiously Robertson was in charge of the earlier Hibs v Celtic fixture which the hoops won 4-2 and has also refereed both matches between Celtic and Hamilton.
In his last Celtic match he refused to award a second minute penalty when Matt Kilgannon fell to the ground and deliberately blocked a cross from Odsonne Edouard with his left arm.
Sunday’s match will be Robertson’s 11th Premiership appointment of the season, on Saturday he was the man in the middle for Aberdeen’s home defeat from St Johnstone.
Bobby Madden will referee Celtic’s midweek match against Motherwell.
After being accused of having an underlying issue by the club from Ibrox Willie Collum misses out on any top flight matches this weekend and the three midweek fixtures.
