Christmas came early for Celtic fans with news that Karamoko Dembele had signed a professional contract with the hoops.

The 15-year-old could have taken his pick from any of the leading teams in Europe but opted to continue with the club that he has been with since the age of 10.

Social media has taken the skills of the teenager across the globe with fans marvellng at his ability.

Dembele is completely two footed, he can take the ball in any area of the park and head off in whatever direction he wishes. Even against older and more physical opponents the London-born kid is a stand out with great strength and pace to compliment his natural ability.

Despite playing in a Development League match two years ago Dembele can’t appear in the Reserve League until he turns 16 at the end of February. Brendan Rodgers is expected to take the teenager to Dubai next month with his first team squad with a top team debut anticipated before the end of the season.
