Steven Gerrard’s managerial honeymoon is virtually over after Sevco were held to a 1-1 draw by Dundee.
Last week, assisted by Bobby Madden, it was high-fiving all round at Tynecastle as they moved to the top of the SPFL Premiership.
There was no post match celebrations today with the league table showing that Celtic are two points clear with a game in hand.

Half expecting Steven Gerrard to come out and say that refs should stop sending off opposition players because it makes it harder for his team to win.

No excuses we hardly created anything of note, Dundee keeper must have thought all his Christmases came all at once, didn’t test him at all. This team is bang average without Morelos and Arfield. Steven Gerrard has to take the blame.

The guy is absolute mince. We can all play a ball four yards and no look interested in getting forward.— G (@Gazallan10) December 9, 2018
@paddypower hi what odds will you give on Steven Gerrard not being a manager by February 2019?

Veteran striker Kenny Miller put Dundee in front after nine minutes with a goal that won’t advance the England prospects of Connor Goldson.
Dundee were down to 10 men in the 21st minute when Nathan Ralph was harshly sent off for a foul on Danny Candeias, from the free kick former Bradford ace Andy Halliday equalised.
Kyle Lafferty was lucky to escape a red card shortly before the break, after aiming a kick at a Dundee defender then going head to head.
Despite being down to ten men Dundee defended well with the tribute act barely forcing a save out of home keeper Jack Hamilton.
