After enjoying Celtic’s comfortable 3-0 win over Hamilton Accies there was one Instagram picture that Scott Brown was drawn to.

With a medal collection far exceeding anything that anyone outside of Celtic Park could dream of the hoops skipper has built up a few enemies down the years.

Over the last couple of years Graeme Shinnie has tried to manufacture a rivalry with Brown, once he has added to the solitary Scottish Cup winners medal sitting in his cabinet he might be treated seriously. Shinnie is believed to be a summer transfer target of Wigan Athletic.

Media favourite Kris Boyd is never slow to dish out advise, whether it’s in The Sun or sharing his views with Radio Scotland, Sky Sports or TalkSPORT.

Yesterday at Pittodrie the two men collided, more accurately Boyd made sure that he collided with Shinnie, earning a red card from referee Nick Walsh.

With both teams losing ground on Celtic it’s looking increasingly likely that Brown will be collecting his ninth championship medal at the end of the season with only the ineligible players fielded by one of Boyd’s former clubs denying him a run of 12th title wins.
