Conor Hazard has joined Partick Thistle on loan.

The keeper has been third choice behind Craig Gordon and Scott Bain and now gets a chance to enjoy first team football.

Last season Hazard spent time on loan at Falkirk and will be looking to emulate the success of Ross Doohan who has been an ever present in goals for Ayr United.

Thistle are having a nightmare season and facing the real prospect of successive relegations. After 19 matches they are a point clear of bottom placed Falkirk with third bottom Alloa Athletic five points ahead in the comfort of safety from the play-off spot Thistle occupy.

Gary Caldwell replaced Alan Archibald in October but has only managed to take five points from 10 matches in charge.

Jamie Sneddon has been the regular goalkeeper over the last month but it’s expected that Hazard will go straight into the first team, making his debut on Saturday away to Dundee United.

When a six year stretch at the Sunday Mirror came to an end it was clear that the future was digital, print had ran its race.

Smart phones and social media created a new landscape, Video Celts has certainly made an impact with Joe described as having an unhealthy obsession by Peter Lawwell at the 2024 Celtic AGM. A priceless endorsement.

There are issues breaking around the clock, no two days are the same. More than 50 years on from his first match Joe is enjoying the ongoing successes of Celtic.
