Celtic fans flocked to support Leigh Griffiths after the Celtic striker responded to a story in The Sun that he had a gambling addiction.
The striker published a lengthy denial in mid-morning after he had featured in their main news story after being pictured at a race meeting in Newcastle.

On the eve of Celtic’s Europa League tie with RB Salzburg Brendan Rodgers announced that Griffiths was taking a break to deal with personal issues.
That announcement sparked a whirlwind of rumours with the Daily Record instantly claiming that he was battling a gambling addiction before watering down their coverage.
Social media has linked the midfielder with dozens of different issues with Griffiths biting back on a couple of occasions.
Celtic haven’t made any comment on Griffiths since Rodgers spoke out and are highly unlikely to discuss confidential matters relating to an employee.
Griffiths last played for Celtic in the 5-1 win over Kilmarnock on December 8, earlier this season he scored the 100th goal of his hoops career.
