Supporters have swamped Chris Sutton’s twitter feed with support for his hard hitting attack of the SFA in the Daily Record.
The former Celtic striker left no stone unturned as he delivered a master-piece, the sort of article that supporters don’t expect to see in the mainstream media.
Alfredo Morelos’ display in the Glasgow derby was bad enough but the SFA’s decision to back John Beaton has sparked fresh outrage.
Is it not time Celtic spoke out against this, club statement required now.

If McKennas was a 2 match ban Celtic incident then I’m sorry but this is far worse

The more things change. The more they stay the same.
Allan McGregor cleared for a similar assault in September

Oooooft Massive accusation!! Needs a response from @ScottishFA surly they have nothing to hide!!

There’s no doubt Gerrard’s outspoken comments about referees has worked for the Ibrox club. The SFA are terrified of them.

Excellent article btw, if only more in the media were willing to report the truth, rather than what they are told to report, then maybe the SFA would be less inclined to make these decisions.

Well done Chris for speaking out. It is crooked as a dogs hind leg up here. The establishment club are being helped and no one wants to upset their sensitive manager. They want to see Celtic dethroned and Rangers to lift the title. It’s sickening what they are doing

The actions of the SFA Disciplinary Committee and Compliance Officer seem to be totally at odds with the laws of the game with dozens of incidents this season leaving fans bemused or angry.
The tone was set on the opening weekend of the SPFL season when a red card issued to Morelos was downgraded to a yellow. After that consistency was thrown aside with Allan McGregor escaping punishment for kicking out at opponents in successive matches against Motherwell and Celtic.
Three times this season players have been given retrospective suspensions following incidents ‘missed’ by referees during matches against Celtic. Despite these errors Willie Collum, Bobby Madden and Kevin Clancy continue to get awarded the high profile matches.
