Ewan Henderson and Ryan Mullen will join the Celtic first team squad in Dubai.

Brendan Rodgers is keeping the numbers tight with Kerr McInroy, Jack Aitchison and Stephen Welsh who went to Austria in pre-season not included.

Henderson made a brief first team appearance last season against Kilmarnock but has still to sign a contract with his current deal expiring in the summer.

Mullen, a regular in the Reserve League, has been promoted to third choice keeper following Conor Hazard’s loan deal to Partick Thistle.

Rodgers had hoped to have new signings integrated into the squad in Dubai but that looks unlikely with deals for Vakoun Issouf Bayo and Timothy Weah still to be completed.

Celtic will enjoy eight days training in Dubai before returning to a Scottish Cup tie against Airdrie United/Clydebank.

As well as bringing players in Celtic are expected to lose a number of fringe players led by Marvin Compper and Jack Hendry.
