Brendan Rodgers has revealed that Celtic haven’t completed the signing of Vakoun Issouf Bayo.
The striker has already said farewell to fans of Dunajska Streda but is still waiting to get a work permit and get his move ratified.
????? BR: “Bayo is still going through his paperwork process, and will hopefully join us later in the week. It’s great to have them on board, all three young talents with very big potential and it’ll be great to nurture that over the next six months.”

With Leigh Griffiths unavailable bringing in another striker was a priority of the January transfer window. Odsonne Edouard was used as a substitute in the matches at Pittodrie and Ibrox with Mikey Johnston starting the fixture against the tribute act.
Bayo is the only permanent signing that Celtic have made this month with the deals for Timo Weah and Oliver Burke coming in on loan.
Bringing in defenders is a priority for the hoops boss with Filip Benkovic and Dedryck Boyata unlikely to be available beyond the end of this season.
????? BR on transfer window: “There will be movement both ways, I would suggest, between now and the end of the window. We’ve got a big squad. There will be players that naturally will want to go and play. We can hopefully do more business.”
