One Ukranian website has provided Celtic fans with the perfect low-down on Maryan Shved
The 21-year-old Ukranian is expected to complete a transfer to Celtic in the next couple of days before being loaned out to develop his career.
Shved has already tasted life abroad but a five year contract with Seville was cancelled when he suffered a cruciate ligament injury in his second season which made settling in the Spanish city impossible.
The goal scoring winger has been with Karpaty Lviv since the age of seven and comes from a footballing family with his father, Vasyl, also wearing the green and white of Karpaty.
A work permit will be required to complete the transfer but that issue will have been examined before negotiations developed.
Shved looks like being the major arrival at Celtic this week but talks are going on over a number of departures with Lewis Morgan and Jack Hendry heading out on loan while a pay-off is negotiated with Marvin Compper.
