Celtic’s last gasp winner at Kilmarnock sent social media into meltdown- led by the club’s official twitter account.
It was as dramatic a win as the hoops have enjoyed all season with Brendan Rodgers’ side finishing the weekend eight points clear at the top of the table with 12 matches left to play.

First the 30 yarder, now a volley. Next up a scissors kick goal from 18 yard? The prolific Broony.

There was little between the teams and almost nothing in the way of clear cut chances as both sides toiled to get the better of the plastic surface.
Celtic had been in free scoring form since the turn of the year but were barely able to get an effort on target despite the significance of the match.
With 14 minutes left to play Kilmarnock were reduced to 10 men when Kirk Broadfoot was shown a straight red card but the breakthrough still seemed unlikely.
Into the final minute of regulation time a corner from Callum McGregor found it’s way to Scott Brown just inside the penalty box.The skipper’s shot was met by the arm of substitute Alex Bruce and spun into the back of the net.
Brown picked up a second yellow card for his celebrations but that was a small price to pay as the hoops bagged all three points to stretch their lead at the top of the SPFL table.
