The celebrations that accompanied Celtic’s dramatic winner at Kilmarnock were as raw as imaginable.
Celtic fans had traveled to Rugby Park full of hope that their side was about to make a decisive move in the title race by moving eight points clear.
For 89 minutes it looked like they would have to settle for just a six point advantage as their side struggled to create a worthwhile opening against Steve Clarke’s brilliantly organised side.

Even though Kilmarnock had been reduced to 10 men with the 75th minute sending off of Kirk Broadfoot chances were still few and far between despite Timo Weah, Olivier Burke and Bayo being sent on to provide added shooting power.
In the final minute of regulation time the match, and possibly the SPFL title, took a dramatic turn.
When Callum McGregor’s late corner was cleared towards the edge of the box Scott Brown connected, his shot smashed off the arm of substitute Alex Bruce and rolled into the net.
Brown picked up a second yellow card for taking his celebrations behind the goal but that didn’t matter as the fans celebrated knowing that another title party was edging closer.
