Celtic fans are growing increasingly frustrated over the refereeing decisions that are blighting this season.
It is commonly accepted that opponents will get fouls that Brendan Rodgers’ side don’t get with yesterday’s statistics from St Johnstone typical of the match by match balancing act that referees apply.
Fifty-fifty challenges go a predictable way, if a Celtic player wins possession in a tussle the referee will tend to blow for a free-kick denying the advantage rule.
At the weekend Andrew Dallas set the tone awarding four penalties at Ibrox, to balance things out for the ‘O** F***’ Willie Collum was determined not to award any penalties in the St Johnstone match.
Christie gets volleyed straight into the stomach no ball played & Shaughnessy goes in studs up on Edouard that forces him off injured, all inside the box, no penalty given!!. Where does it stop?. pic.twitter.com/H7OqQMHgaG

Early in the match Jason Kerr came in dangerously from behind to send Oliver Burke to the deck inside the penalty box.
With 15 minutes to go, the man who awarded Aberdeen two penalties against Celtic on December 26, saw nothing wrong with two challenges that cleaned out Ryan Christie and Odsonne Edouard inside the six yard box.
They carried out those challenges because they knew that they were unlikely to be punished, opponents have a licence to go in as hard and heavy as they wish on Celtic players. Check out the current injury list.
As the comments on the tweet above illustrate Celtic supporters have had enough but when are the club going to call out what is going on and get John Fleming to explain his role and the dominance of the Lanarkshire Referee Association?
Having been fobbed off over John Beaton’s display at Ibrox it looks like Celtic supporters can expect further refereeing errors to have a massive bearing on the title race.
