Chris Davies has revealed that Celtic will need to try and find another loan move for Andrew Gutman.
On Saturday news emerged that the MLS had blocked his proposed loan move to Nashville SC which had been arranged after his deadline day signing for Celtic.
It had been reported that the 22-year-old would be returning to Celtic but it’s unclear whether he has been granted a work permit with today’s news suggesting that he is ineligible to play in the UK.
Gutman spent time before Christmas training at Murray Park but accepted an offer to train with Celtic and appeared in friendly matches against St Mirren and Arbroath.
Celtic appear to be well covered at left-back with Daniel Church and Calvin Miller available to play in that position while Emilio Izaguirre deputises for Kieran Tierney in the first team.
So far no problems have been reported with the loan transfer of Manny Perez to North Carolina FC.
