Timothy Weah has explained his reactions at the end of Celtic’s 1-0 win over Kilmarnock.

The teenage American was a 77th minute substitute for James Forrest as Celtic pushed for the breakthrough goal that would send them eight points clear at the top of the SPFL table.

Scott Brown’s winning goal brought a rush of emotion as the Celtic players celebrated with their fans before an anxious four minutes of stoppage time was played out.

At the final whistle Weah was seen grabbing the front of his Celtic shirt and shouting at Killie defender Greg Taylor with referee Bobby Madden quick to issue a yellow card to Weah. No action was taken against Taylor or team-mate Jordan Jones who was seen pushing the Celtic substitute..

A minute later Weah was seen having a heated exchange as Madden decided to confront the player as he joined his Celtic team-mates who had gathered together.
