Chris Sutton is chomping at the bit to tackle the big questions in Scottish football.
Scotland’s top pundit was at the Celtic v Valencia match on Thursday night, in the BT Sport studio in London with Robbie Savage and Neil Lennon yesterday before heading to Fir Park for today’s Motherwell v Hearts SPFL clash.

With all respect the mid-table action on BT Sport won’t quite be the big talking point with Celtic having the opportunity to open up an eight point lead in the title race later this afternoon.
The weekend script had been set for Celtic feeling the pressure of their advantage being cut down to just three points but a goal-less draw at Ibrox yesterday has changed the complexion of the weekend.
If Celtic can come up with a win on the plastic of Rugby Park the focus of attention will be firmly on Steven Gerrard as he attempts to keep his debut season in management alive with, in his own words, only the Scottish Cup to play for.
Sutton will be with Celtic in Valencia in midweek, the end of the European run looks inevitable but full points at Kilmarnock will provide a reassuring domestic cushion.
