Jeremy Toljan is named as a substitute today as Celtic take their title challenge to St Johnstone.

Brendan Rodgers has stuck with the same side that beat the Saints in midweek but the loan signing from Borussia Dortmund is on the bench with Mikael Lustig retaining his place at right-back.

Yesterday’s results saw Celtic’s lead at the top of the table reduced to three points but a third win of the season in Perth will restore the hoops six point lead with 14 matches left to play.

After winning four home matches following the winter break today’s visit to Perth is the first ‘on the road’ test for Rodgers’ new look side.

Earlier in the season Celtic won 6-0 away to St Johnstone in the Premiership which came soon after a 1-0 win in the Betfred Cup.

Today’s match is the middle fixture of three between the two clubs with Celtc winning the opener 2-0 at home on Wednesday with the two clubs getting together again next Sunday in the Scottish Cup. Willie Collum will referee today’s match with right-wing Tory MP Douglas Ross one of his assistants.

CELTIC: Bain; Lustig, Ajer, Simunovic, Izaguirre; Brown, McGregor; Forrest, Christie, Sinclair; Burke

SUBS: Gordon, Bitton, Weah, Edouard, Johnston, Toljan, Hayes
