Brendan Rodgers has brought in Jonny Hayes for Emilio Izaguirre and Kris Ajer for Scott Sinclair in the only changes from the first leg for tonight’s Europa League tie with Valencia.
The Irishman comes in for Sinclair on the left wing with Ajer expected to play right-back with Jeremy Toljan switched over to the left. Timo Weah and Odsonne Edouard have to settle for places on the bench.
Celtic face a mountain trying to turn around the 2-0 defeat that Valencia inflicted in last week’s first leg.
Without Kieran Tierney and Filip Benkovic the hoops defence looked vulnerable as the Spanish side pushed up high to put Scott Bain under pressure with his clearances.
With Tom Rogic, Olivier Ntcham and Leigh Griffiths also missing it was clear that Celtic need a full strength squad if they are to be competitive in European action.
Around 6,000 Celtic fans are expected to be in the Mestalla for kick off with less than half of them having tickets for the visitors section.
