Scott Allan, Marvin Compper and Dorus de Vries make their first reserve team appearance of the season today with Vakoun Bayo getting a debut in the Reserve League clash with Falkirk at Cappielow.

The experienced trio haven’t played a minute of first team or reserve football this season but are included in Tommy McIntyre’s side for today;s match, kick off 12 noon.

Allan and de Vries are out of contract at the end of the season, the midfielder has signed a pre-contract deal to join Hibs, while Compper is under contract until June 2020.

Today’s match is just the second reserve outing of the year with the hoops hoping to build on their 4-1 win over Partick Thistle a fortnight ago.

Celtic are currently in fourth place in the Reserve League which consists of only 17 fixtures, earlier in the season Celtic won 2-1 at Falkirk in the Reserve League Cup.

Former Celts Leo Fasan and Lewis Kidd are in the Falkirk side.
