Scotland’s top two pundits enjoyed a brilliant ‘ding-dong’ after Hearts beat Kilmarnock 2-1 last night in front of the BT Sport cameras.

Over the last ten days Michael Stewart has been involved in a very public row with Craig Levein with the Hearts boss accusing the former Jambos midfielder of not having the intelligence to go into management.

Stewart has built up a respected career in the media, calling issues as he sees them without trying to keep favour with old colleagues or vested interests. Much like Sutton.

BBC Scotland, The Sun and BT Sport all value the opinions of Stewart while Levein strives to win the first trophy of his career which has spanned over 30 years as a player and manager.

Sutton certainly knows how to wind folk up, and did so as Stewart praised Hearts for their victory without mentioning the name of their manager.

As he chipped away from the sidelines at Stewart the former Hearts midfielder refused to lose his cool as Gary Locke and Stephen Craigan took a back seat.
