Andrew Dallas shot to the top of the twitter trends after awarding Sevco four penalties during today’s match against St Mirren.
James Tavernier scored twice from the spot, hit the post with one and handed the fourth penalty to Jermain Defoe to score the fourth in the 80th minute.
From Ibrox Radio Clyde pundit Gordon Dalziel said that three penalties were dodgy, watching from the comfort of the studio Alex Rae felt that two of the penalty decisions were wrong.

Andrew Dallas shouldn’t be allowed to referee in our leagues. Dallas has a job because of father & not based on his abilites as a referee. He was shambolic during the Highland derby recently. I’d imagine fans of most teams in Scotland have a story to tell regarding his mistakes.

Today’s points cuts Celtic’s lead at the top of the table down to three points although Brendan Rodgers’ side can restore their six point advantage by winning tomorrow at St Johnstone.
Earlier this season Dallas awarded Sevco two late penalties at Hamilton when the score was tied at 1-1.
The Lanarkshire based official was the youngest ever Scottish referee to be put on the FIFA list, his father Hugh was sacked as Head of Refereeing at the SFA after sending anti-Catholic emails from his workplace email account.
