Celtic fans flooded social media following the news that Leigh Griffiths was making a return to training at Lennoxtown.
Within an hour of the announcement more than 400 comments had been added to the official tweet.
After more than three months out of action to deal with personal issues the striker has taken the first steps towards a return to action.
No timetable has been set for his return to first team action but if all goes to plan it seems more likely than not that Griffiths will get the chance before the season ends.
#CelticFC today announced that striker @Leighgriff09 will be returning to the club this week to commence fitness and performance work at Lennoxtown.

Neil Lennon signed Griffiths for £1m from Wolves in January 2014 but stepped down as Celtic manager a few months later.
Despite the arrival of various strikers ranging from John Guidetti to Carlton Cole Griffiths has held his place in the Celtic side, scoring his 100th goal earlier this season.
Odsonne Edouard and Oli Burke have shared the striking role since the turn of the year but the return of Griffiths would open up further options for Lennon.
