Three days after pulling out of Belgium’s match with Cyprus due to personal reasons Dedryck Boyata was back in training at Lennoxtown today.
The defender played the full 90 minutes of Belgium’s 3-1 win over Russia last week and appears to be in line for a place in Sunday’s Glasgow derby.
With Filip Benkovic getting 20 minutes in the 1-0 win away to Dundee and Kris Ajer in international action Neil Lennon will have a difficult choice over who to play in central defence.
Celtic have been beset by injuries throughout the season with most eyes on today’s training video scanning to see who is on the way back to match fitness.
Kieran Tierney and the Scotland contingent were missing from training today but Olivier Ntcham and Tom Rogic took part.
Neither midfielder has played for Celtic since December with match fitness clearly the biggest concern for Lennon as he decides on his side for Sunday.
