Neil Lennon is delighted with the conditioning of his Celtic squad after the most hectic week of the season.
Trips to face Hearts and Hibs within four days was always going to be a big test of ability but after a rapid change of manager the character of the team was also called into question.
It would have been easy to feel sorry for themselves after watching a manager promise them the earth then disappear overnight but Odsonne Edouard’s late winner at Tynecastle ensured that there were no hard luck stories.

After beating Hibs to reach the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup the players were given two days rest with preparations now well underway for Saturday’s match against Aberdeen.
“The boys were given Sunday and Monday off which they needed, not just physically but mentally as well,”Lennon told Celtic TV. “Training has been good, today now and tomorrow will be just about building up to the Aberdeen game.”
Filip Benkovic, Tony Ralston and Olivier Ntcham are all believed to be getting closer to a return to action although Callum McGregot, Tom Rogic and Ryan Christie won’t be available until after the international break.
