Within days of admitting his interest in managing Celtic, Davie Moyes is the 3/1 favourite to become the next Scotland manager.

UPDATE: Strachan odds now down to 3/1 with Paddy Power

Speculation is rife that Alex McLeish is about to step down/ be sacked by the SFA exactly a week after the 3-0 defeat from Kazakhstan.

Moyes was linked with the Scotland job after Gordon Strachan was sacked but was appointed manager of West Ham before the SFA got round to looking for a replacement.

The former Everton and Manchester United boss is priced at 3/1 with Bet Victor to become the next Scotland boss with Paddy Power offering odds of 5/1.

Steve Clarke seems a more realistic candidate for the job with both firms offering the Kilmarnock boss at 6/1.

During the course of writing this article the odds on Gordon Strachan have been cut to 3/1 from 8/1 by Paddy Power, the firm that he produces some hard hitting opinion pieces for.

Derek McInnes of Aberdeen is being priced at 9/1 with Michael O’Neill, who knocked back the job after Strachan was axed, priced at 14/1.
