Tom Rogic is on the comeback trail after being pictured training outdoors at Lennoxtown today.

The midfielder picked up a knee injury during the Asian Cup that required surgery and has yet to play for Celtic this year.

Rogic was controversially called up for international duty on December 27 by Australian boss Graham Arnold with his last Celtic appearance coming the previous day during the 4-3 win over Aberdeen.

During the first half of the season the midfielder was troubled by knee problems which restricted him to just 12 SPFL starting appearances.

A return against Aberdeen tomorrow is highly unlikely but the Glasgow derby at the end of the month should be a realistic target for the 26-year-old.

With Callum McGregor, Ryan Christie and Olivier Ntcham missing Nir Bitton and Ewan Henderson have been drafted in for their first appearances of the season.
