One eagle eyed TV viewer has spotted a Celtic fan deep undercover at Tynecastle on Wednesday night- going as far as wearing a Hearts scarf in the Wheatfield Stand.

Going undercover carries varies levels of difficulty and danger with a trip down Gorgie Road into the wrong end something that us best avoided for most fans.

With a number of flash-points guaranteed whenever Hearts host Celtic it requires strong discipline to keep your emotions in check when it is kicking off on the park with emotions high in the stands.

Shortly before half-time on Wednesday night Jamie Brandon went flying into a late challenge on Jeremy Toljan with his elbow out, for good measure the Hearts defender made sure that his boot made contact with Toljan’s head as he fell to the ground.

A card was guaranteed, referee Steven McLean decided on a red and suddenly the game appeared to swing Celtic’s way with a one goal lead and a man extra.

Captured by the Sky Sports cameras is one Celtic fan rubbing his hands at the decision and sharing a friendly comment with the fan to his right.

If the same fan managed to remain seated when Odsonne Edouard popped in the winning goal he really does deserve a medal for surviving 90 plus minutes undercover among the enemy.
