It seemed like the most anticipated international debut of all time but when it finally arrived it fizzled out after just 45 minutes.
The big question now for Alfredo Morelos is whether he will ever get another call to play for Colombia?
A grand total of 17 goals in this season’s SPFL and manufactured transfer interest in the striker brought him to the attention of Carlos Queiroz who recently took charge of the Colombian national side.

After a three minute run out against Japan on Friday, that featured a world class nutmeg, Morelos undid all of the hype with a horror show in today’s 2-1 defeat from South Korea.
Featuring one of his trademark sitters Queiroz waited till the interval before replacing the Ibrox ace, three minutes into the second half Colombia equalised before the South Korean’s scored the winner.
Morelos now faces the long flight back to Murray Park looking to score his first ever goal against Celtic in Sunday’s Glasgow derby.
