Vakoun Bayo gets another chance to step up his match fitness with Celtic’s facing Hearts in the Reserve League this afternoon.

The Ivorian striker scored in last week’s 6-0 win over Dundee and again plays alongside Jack Aitchison and Armstrong Oko-Flex.

Bayo has been limited to just a couple of minutes of first team action away to Kilmarnock but will be hoping to push his way into contention after the winter break.

Karamoko Dembele starts his second Reserve League match after missing out at Dundee last week with the 16-year-old only becoming eligible to play at this level a couple of weeks ago.

Scott Allan is missing from last week’s side which might suggest that Neil Lennon is promoting the Hibs bound midfielder into the first team squad to face Dundee on Sunday. Jamie Brandon, Harry Cochrane and Connor Shaughnessy are in the Hearts side with Tommy McIntyre’s squad going to the top of the table after last week’s win over Dundee.

CELTIC: Mullan; Duffy, Welsh, Compper, Church; McInroy, McLaughlin; Dembele, Aitchison, Oko-Flex; Bayo

SUBS: Willison, Mazis, Diver, Coffey, Savoury, Caffrey, Robertson
