Karamoko Dembele’s career has been chronicled by the digital era with social media capturing his first ever goal in senior football.
With the score tied at 2-2 the 16-year-old whipped in a free kick from just outside the corner of the penalty box that deceived Kelby Mason in the Hearts goal and ended up in the back of the net.
The Hearts keeper seemed to pre-occupied with Marvin Compper but the defender didn’t get a touch on the ball as it hit the net to give Celtic full points and make it four wins out of four since the turn of the year.
Dembele was immediately surrounded by his team-mates who had dug in for a point after Hearts had cancelled out their early two goal advantage thanks to goals from Wallace Duffy and Compper.
With u-19 European Championship qualifiers coming up, and five Celtic players in the Scotland squad heading to Portugal, there are no more Reserve League fixtures until April 8 when they travel to Ross County.
