Some Celtic fans couldn’t wait until April 1 and have released the Alfredo Morelos to Celtic swoop!
Last week the Colombian signed a contract extension with the Ibrox club- the third time in a year that he has enjoyed a pay rise for adding 12 months to his contract.
According to some there is a £10m buy out clause available to a Champions League club which greatly restricts the market for the most sell-able asset at Ibrox.

Fuck sake taking dogs abuse. Don’t shoot the messenger FFS. Only saying what everyone else was hours before me. Told there’s truth in it and his agent has been in touch a few times with the club as well as others. This isn’t new news.

Despite Celtic’s comparative wealth there is no chance of that sort of money being spent on someone who’s greatest achievement in the game is to score against the sixth best team in Austria.
Last summer Celtic spent £9m on an EU citizen in Odsonne Edouard who arrived with the pedigree of being a French u-17 internationalist from Paris Saint Germain.
Morelos’ pedigree could hardly be more different, at the age of 22 he has played 15 minutes of international football, collected four red cards in a single season with just a couple of Europa League goals to embellish his CV.
The Banter Years have been running for more than seven years with many hilarious chapters, Morelos to Celtic is a classic example of a story that shows no signs of ending with Steven Gerrard destined for the scrapheap that has already claimed Mark Warburton, Ally McCoist and Pedro Caixinha.
