Kilmarnock’s Gary Dicker has slammed Greg Aitken’s handling of his side’s 1-1 draw at Ibrox on Saturday.

Steven Gerrard criticised the way that Kilmarnock went about their business but it seems that the home side were very fortunate to finish the match with 11 players on the park.

On the half-time whistle Alfredo Morelos appeared to land a punch on the chin of Kirk Broadfoot while in the closing stages Connor Goldson cleaned out Liam Miller with a brutal lunge that only earned him a yellow card.

Any red cards would have resulted in players missing the Glasgow derby through suspension with Dicker hitting out at the way his side were denied justice.

They shouldn’t have had ten men on the pitch,” the midfielder told The Sun. “There was the Morelos incident as we came off at half-time. I saw him swinging an arm at Broaders, but it’s the same old story, isn’t it? No one sees anything here.

I spoke to all of the officials and they haven’t seen it. The linesman said he’d gone straight back down the tunnel, but I thought they didn’t leave the pitch until the players are off.

People make mistakes, but there are four of them there and someone has to see something. As for the one at the end with Goldson? Just make a decision — you’re right there.

It’s a red card all day. Liam’s clean through and he’s going to commit someone else and shoot, but it’s reckless and a red whether he’s through on goal or not.

I was told there was a covering defender. For me that doesn’t matter — it’s out of control and he’s not going for the ball.

The ref knows the rules better than me, but it’s a red card.

It takes a bit of bottle sometimes to make those decisions. If it happens the other way round it’s a red card for Killie — end of!

The frustrating thing is, we shouldn’t be talking about that stuff. I said the same the last time we were here and you get bored of talking about it. Sadly, it never seems to go our way.”

The point for Kilmarnock ensures their place in the top six with Gerrard’s side expected to visit Rugby Park after the split.

With two draws at Ibrox and a home win over Gerrard’s XI Steve Clarke’s men will looking for full points on home territory to boost their bid to earn a Europa League place.
