The BT Sport pundit has seen through various Ibrox revolutions over the last couple of seasons and has never bought into the hype surrounding Steven Gerrard.

With the exception of the December derby win over Celtic Gerrard’s side have come up short at every domestic test to leave their campaign in tatters.
Niall McGinn opened the scoring in the third minute with the home side unable to put any meaningful pressure on the Dons goal with Alfredo Morelos booked for diving during the first half.
Connor McLennan put the Dons 2-0 in front in the 62nd minute and despite the introduction of Kyle Lafferty and Jermain Defoe the Dons survived to book a semi-final place against Celtic.
The only downside for Derek McInnes’ side was a second half booking for Graeme Shinnie that will see the Dons skipper miss the semi-final due to suspension.
