One imaginative Celtic fan has rearranged Billy McNeill’s playing honours.
A decade of domination is only one way to describe the incredible achievements that Celtic’s greatest captain racked up between 1965 and 1975.
Between lifting the Scottish Cup against Dunfermline and Airdrie Celtic enjoyed their greatest ever period as a fading Scottish name was turned into a revered force across Europe.

Fifty two years after their most famous triumph that afternoon in Lisbon is still recalled fondly across the continent as an exciting brand of attacking football was given it’s just reward.
While there was no further European Cup triumphs to celebrate there was one more final and two more semi-finals for McNeill to lead Celtic into.
The 1970 semi-final victories over Leeds United was as great a Scottish triumph as any with over 130,000 inside Hampden Park to see Jock Stein’s brand of football put Leeds United in their place.
