Eros Grezda has picked up 12 points and a driving ban just four months after moving to Ibrox from Croatian cracks Osijek.

The £2m winger has been restricted to just seven starting appearances since his August move but has been adding points to his driving licence with ease.

Grezda has made three substitute appearances in 2019 after being tipped to take Scottish football by storm with the title of ‘the hottest talent in Albanian football’.

Earlier this week the Daily Record reported:

Rangers star Eros Grezda has been banned from driving after totting up 12 penalty points – despite living in Scotland for just seven months.

He appeared at Glasgow Justice of the Peace Court this month charged with driving his Audi through a red light last December 21 in Great Western Road, in the city’s west end.

The court records show the 24-year-old midfielder represented himself during the hearing. He pled guilty and was fined £350 and handed three penalty points.

He was also given a six-month driving ban as the penalty took him over the 12-point threshold.

Grezda faces a tough fight for a place next season with Jake Hastie expected to move to Ibrox with Jordan Jones already committed to a pre-contract agreement.

Steven Gerrard signed the Albanian internationalist on a four year contract from Osijek who also sold Borna Barisic to the Ibrox club in another £2m deal.
