Neil Lennon is confident of having his biggest ever squad to chose from for Sunday’s Scottish Cup semi-final against Aberdeen at Hampden.

When the Irishman took charge of Celtic for the game against Hearts on a caretaker basis he went into that match with half a dozen to names on the sidelines.

Over the last couple of weeks Callum McGregor, Tom Rogic, Ryan Christie, Olivier Ntcham and Filip Benkovic have all managed some game time after lengthy spells out of action.

The return of those players will mean that some big decisions have to be made, especially in midfield.

Scott Brown and McGregor seem certain to anchor the midfield leaving three top players to battle for one position. Scott Sinclair is far from a certain starter on the left wing although James Forrest and Odsonne Edouard appear highly likely to lead the attack.

Celtic have beaten Aberdeen three times this season with the other match a goal-less draw, Sinclair has scored four of Celtic’s six goals against Derek McInnes’ side.
