Six days after enjoying a frenzied Glasgow derby Rod Stewart found somewhere a little more tranquil to keep upto date with how his team got on against Livingston.

While the mercury nudged towards double figures on Kerrydale Street it seemed to be Seville type weather as the singer found a spot on the beach to listen to the hoops.

After a first half full of promise and near misses Celtic failed to kick on after the break, having to settle for a 0-0 draw against Gary Holt’s side.

Once the final whistle had blown Stewart could have kicked some sand aside and speculated on when the eighth title will be clinched.

If Steven Gerrard’s side drop any points away to Hearts on April 20 Celtic can win the title the following day at Easter Road. If both Glasgow teams win in the capital it’ll be home to Kilmarnock on April 20 for the title clincher.
