On the weekend that Scott Brown’s shirt and boots from the Glasgow derby were auctioned off for £4,000 things weren’t quite as friendly across the city.
After the unfortunate timing of last year’s Player of the Year event, on the evening of a 5-0 defeat that presented the title to Celtic, no chances were being taken with the timing of this years event
The black tie event attracted the well heeled blue noses giving them the chance to mix with their heroes and hear some off the record comments.
Unfortunately temptation got the better of one fan as he picked up an autographed shirt leaving a fellow supporter heart broken at his loss.
Rather than look into the matter privately the fan opted to share their bad news on twitter with some very predictable replies.
