The full details of Lewis Ferguson’s brutal appearance in the Scottish Cup semi-final has been revealed by Celtic by numbers.
A summary of his actions against Celtic bring the conclusion that it was a near miracle that he lasted 66 minutes on the park without even a yellow card for a catalogue of fouls that Craig Thomson seemed content to overlook.
Had the match referee taken action earlier Ferguson may have taken heed and avoided the shame of being red carded in the show-piece fixture.
Lewis Ferguson’s performance in the semi final for Aberdeen was one of the most persistently undisciplined I can remember. It was so “good” I had to log it as I took in the game data! pic.twitter.com/9n5JvyIU8n

Most fans will remember different fouls committed by the midfielder, one of the strangest was on the hour mark when he was grappling with Odsonne Edouard on the hour mark, when the striker was pushed over Thomson blew for a free kick to Aberdeen!
That incident must have convinced Ferguson that he was immune from punishment, seven minutes later he pushed his luck too far with a red card produced for a brutal lunge at Tom Rogic right in front of the referee. Finally he was red carded.
None of the players have said a word about McLeish being mutually consented (paid off)https://t.co/LH5pSjIjjm
