With one round of fixtures to spare the make up of the post-split SPFL Premiership is now known.

Motherwell’s defeat at Aberdeen tonight coupled with Hibs drawing at home to Kilmarnock meant that there could be no changes over the final round of fixtures before the top flight splits in two.

Joining Celtic in the top half will be the club from Ibrox, Kilmarnock, Aberdeen and the two clubs from Edinburgh.

The SPFL will now try to balance out the remaining fixtures with the broadcasters and police to ensure as balanced a schedule as possible.

Celtic are expected to get home matches against Kilmarnock and Hearts alongside trips to Ibrox, Pittodrie and Easter Road.

After winning 2-0 at St Mirren tonight Celtic require four points to clinch the title which could come on Sunday if the hoops beat Livingston on Saturday and Steven Gerrard’s side drop any points away at Motherwell.
