UEFA have put together a one minute video clip of Virgil van Dijk’s display against Barcelona in the Nou Camp five and a half years ago.
Celtic lost the match 6-1 but it could have been much, much worse had it not been for a series of interventions by the Dutch defender.

Having made the last 16 the previous season the 2013/14 Champions League campaign was one that Celtic would rather forget as they took just three points from a group that also contained Ajax and AC Milan.
Van Dijk had been signed in the summer and quickly made his mark on the team despite the struggles in the Champions League.
Via a move to Southampton he is rated as one of the best defenders in Europe, last season he helped Liverpool to reach the final of the Champions League with Barcelona standing in the way of another final performance.
