After 94 minutes of the Glasgow Cup Final it looked like Celtic were heading for a penalty shoot out after being pegged back to 2-2 in the final of the Glasgow Cup.

Armstrong Oko Flex won a free kick midway inside the opponents half with Ewan Henderson trusted to ping the ball into the penalty box.

Robbie Deas got his head to the ball, as it dropped to the ground he hooked a brilliant shop looping over Kieran Wright and under the bar- SCENES!

The young hoops whooped it up to the max as they ran to celebrate with the fans in the South Stand.

For an hour Celtic had dominated, played the football with some brutal attempts made to stop their passing movements.

At half time two well taken goals from Jack Aitchison and Mikey Johnston had Celtic in front but both scorers were injured early in the second half with the young hoops falling out the game.

Glenn Middleton scored twice with the Ibrox kids looking the more likely winners in the closing stages- until Deas struck.

A season on loan at the coal face of Cowdenbeath has toughened up the young defender, he mustered up all his strength to force the winner and give his team-mates a night to celebrate rather than go through the agony of a penalty shoot out.

CELTIC: Mullen, Duffy (McLaughlin), Deas, Welsh, Church; Dembele (Savoury) , Coffey, Henderson, Oko Flex; Johnston (Robertson), Aitchison (Harper)
