Regan Hendry is set to leave Celtic.

The 21-year-old has come through the ranks but failed to make a first team appearance with a loan spell at Raith Rovers this season halted after four appearances by a cruciate ligament injury.

The Sun reports:

CELTIC youngster Regan Hendry is set to leave the club at the end of the season.

The reserve team captain’s contract is up in the summer and it is understood he won’t be offered a new deal.

Hendry came through the ranks just behind Liam Henderson and Joe Thomson who both had to move on to get regular first team football.

Last season he also had a spell on loan at Raith with John McGlynn quick to take him back to Fife when he took charge of the club.

Raith are likely to be back in with an offer for next season but much will depend on their league status following tonight’s 2-1 home win over Forfar with the winners facing Queen of the South or Montrose for a place in next season’s Championship.

At the start of this season there was a report that Norwich were interested in the midfielder.
