The odds on Davie Moyes becoming the next manager of Celtic have continued to shorten with the former West Ham and Manchester United boss generally available at Even Money to get the job.

Rafa Benitez and Neil Lennon have both been edged out to around 3/1 with no other real runners in the race.

After tomorrow’s Scottish Cup Final Lennon will take a short break putting the spotlight on the Celtic board to make their announcement.

Brendan Rodgers left to devote his life to Leicester City at the end of February with Lennon coming in as caretaker within 24 hours of Celtic accepting Leicester’s offer of compensation.

A similarly slick operation is expected next week with major surgery needed on the Celtic squad with just six weeks to go until the first competitive match of next season, a Champions League qualifier on July 9 or 10.
