Kieran Tierney is out of the Celtic side to face Hearts in the final of the Scottish Cup with Jonny Hayes playing at left-back with Mikey Johnston on the left wing.

Tierney had missed the last three matches as he waits on a hernia operation but has been left out of today’s Treble Treble bid.

Neil Lennon has spent an incredible week of management fending off speculation about his own future while building up the players without overburdening them with the weight of history.

Largely the same group of players clinched the Invincible Treble two years ago, 12 months ago they became the first Scottish club to win a Double Double.

Lennon’s second match as caretaker was away to Hibs in the quarter final where James Forrest and Scott Brown scored the goals that took Celtic through.

In the semi-final Aberdeen were hammered 3-0 but the match wasn’t without cost with Ryan Christie’s season ended by a brutal head collision from Dom Ball.

CELTIC: Bain; Lustig, Ajer, Simunovic, Hayes; Brown, McGregor; Forrest, Rogic, Johnston, EdouarD

SUBS: De Vries, Toljan, Sinclair, Bitton, Benkovic, Dembele, Ntcham
