John Hartson has signed off from his weekly column in the Evening Times.

Every Tuesday the former Celtic striker shared his views on the club through a dramatic period that saw the departure of Brendan Rodgers and the return of his former team-mate Neil Lennon.

Hartson’s strong opinions certainly brought some life to the content on the Times website with some decent insights into what was going on behind the scenes.

The Welshman has a range of media duties across radio and television where he is often called on to cover matters at Arsenal and Wales.

His final column for the Times covered Karamoko Dembele and how the teenager can live up to the hype and expectations on his shoulders.

Every Friday Davie Hay provides Times readers with his opinions from inside Celtic but the loss of Hartson will be hard to replace with the Welshman having 370,000 followers on twitter- six times more than the Evening Times.
