Robertson spend some time at Celtic as a teenager before leaving for Queens Park, Dundee United and Hull before joining Liverpool two years ago.
With his will to win and attacking instincts the Glasgow boy is a big favourite of the Liverpool support and also of Jurgen Klopp.
Although it never worked out for him at Celtic Robertson has never hidden his affection for the club, telling a Liverpool TV interview that Henrik Larsson was his footballing hero.
While Celtic have been sweeping up trophies over the last couple of seasons Robertson has found himself in the company of James Forrest, Callum McGregor, Leigh Griffiths, Kieran Tierney, Craig Gordon and Scott Bain in the Scotland international squad.
